Literature Text

There are just some things you will never see coming. Life has a way of surprising you and sending you on mental journeys. You may not like the adventure, but you must accept your fate. After all, somebody has to do it.
So what if they hate me for what I did? In the end, how I felt was all that mattered. I never saw it coming. If I did, I wonder if I would have tried to avoid it. How would my life be different now if I just stayed out of it?
Well, I didn't know at the time and so, when January came along, I went to Seasonal to compete with my friends…
---
"You are not permitted here." The girl's soft, beautiful voice sounded abnormally cold when she spoke to the Vocaloids. "I already told you that our team if filled." Mew's fists clenched and she felt her friends stiffen behind her.
"But Meiko and Kaito will not accept us," she cried. "Where are we supposed to go? We need a team or we cannot-"
"That is no concern of mine," Luka Megurine snarled. "My team is filled; Yuuma VY2 was the last to join us. I took a risk in allowing the new Vocaloid2 androids to join and while we are numerous, Meiko's team still beat us in every category. I know for a fact that the judges prefer old, classic voices, not the new, human ones." Mew sighed and Luka's face softened. "I'm very sorry, Mew, but I have to do what is best for my team." Mew nodded, understanding. If she were a team leader, she would do the same. Luka smiled softly and turned around to leave.
Silence filled the clearing.
"Now what?" SeeU's question rang loudly in the silence. Tone Rion answered it with another question.
"Why don't we make our own team?" she asked. CUL sighed.
"Yuzuki and I already asked Sweet Ann about that. She told us that there have been only three teams for Seasonal since the Vocaloid tradition began with the UTAUloids," CUL groaned. Bruno, one of the two Spanish-speaking Vocaloids, stood up, his eyes narrowed.
"No," he growled, "we will go back to Sweet Ann and demand our own team. We came here to sing and damn it we will!" His voice sounded odd through Mew's built in translator, but the message came through loud and clear.
Bruno's fiancé, Clara, got to her feet as well. "I'll talk to her myself if I have to," she yelled in fluent Spanish. It took a moment for the translator to convert it to Japanese. Oliver, the only Engloid, nodded, his small child's face glowing.
"I want to come too," he squeaked. "And when IA, Ring, Lui, and Aoki come out, they can join our team!" Tone Rion beamed.
"We'll be the Vocaloid3 team," she cheered. Mew smiled.
"If we all go," she said thoughtfully, "Sweet Ann will have to say yes." She looked around. "But we need a leader." This comment brought on a new wave of silence.
"I think Mew should lead," SeeU offered. "She's the oldest and was the one who tried to talk to Luka. She's been our leader from the very beginning." There were nods all around.
"I agree," Oliver said, beaming. "Mew will make a great leader!" The young boy even sounded cute through the translator.
"So, is it official?" Bruno asked, gazing at Mew. She felt suddenly uncomfortable, but flattered and pleased. Every Vocaloid was looking at her expectantly. She smiled.
"If it is what you want, I will be the leader of Vocaloid3."
So like, this is the introduction to this. You'll learn all about Len x Piko starting in Chapter 2 :)
---
I'm rewriting my old Vocaloid fan-fiction, but since it's been a year, I'm changing it slightly to take the new Vocaloids into account. This story is not at all about the Vocaloid3 Vocaloids, but I will have them play a major part in Len's drama.
Yes, this entire story is about Len.
Len x Piko Magnet was the first Magnet I ever listened to and it sounded so good I just HAD to give it a back story.
---
Anyway, the Vocaloids all get together four times a year and have singing competitions called "Seasonal." There are four teams [there used to only be three]; a Engloid team, two Japanese teams, and now, a Vocaloid3 team. Sweet Ann doesn't like competing, so she runs these competitions. You'll figure it out...
In the meantime, I think I'm falling in love with Len's feelings for Piko.
---
These Vocaloids belong to their original owners. I don't own them or the songs they sing. I just wrote the words that are inscribed in Len's heart.
---
Edit: I wrote the first part in the first person because I feel like it can apply to any character, because they all start to fall apart at that Seasonal...
